City of Angels Children's Home
Teens from City of Angels have been learning building techniques from ULBC Casabuilders
and have aided us in building at the Mi Casa Children's Site.
The Artistry of Annie LaPoint
Ken's wife Annie, a well-known watercolor artist has donated the proceeds from
several of her artwork pieces to the building of Mi Casa. Her "Blossoms
for Jody"
is a floral tribute to her sister who passed in September 2006 from a battle
with lung cancer. Our memorial chapel is to be built in honor of her sister Jody.
